Coach C Roasts is proud to introduce a dark roast called Kuwa Jasiri into the craft coffee marketplace. Kuwa Jasiri, which means “BE BOLD” in Swahili, the native language of Tanzania. Coach C uses Tanzanian Peaberry seeds (coffee beans) for the premium roast. It’s interesting to learn about coffee cherries and how they contain seeds used to make coffee. Sometimes, a coffee cherry may only contain one seed, known as a peaberry. The peaberry seed is said to have a better flavor because it absorbs all of the nutrients and flavors from the coffee cherry. Tanzania, located on the eastern coast of Africa, is known for producing coffee beans often compared to Kenya’s. It’s fascinating to learn about the different regions and the unique coffee flavors they offer.
